Beginner flutes available - Gemeinhardt, Armstrong, Bundy

Right now I have three flutes, an Armstrong, a Gemeinhardt, and a Bundy. Pictures are on Photobucket.

The Gemeinhardt is a standard closed hole flute that has just been overhauled using Valentino pads. Since it has just been overhauled, it is on sale for $199. The URL for this flute is http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/ss303/smleitner/gem.jpg
and http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/ss303/smleitner/gemcase.jpg

The Bundy is an older flute with a complete overhaul done using Valentino pads. I believe it was made in the Buescher factory right after Buescher was bought my Selmer. Some old Bundy Flutes and Sax's are just great. You can see the quality on this flute by looking at the trill keys. Instead of a little bit of metal and a very thick piece of cork, there's a very thick piece of metal and a thin cork. This one will LAST and LAST! It's on sale for $169. The URL for this flute is http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/ss303/smleitner/bun.jpg and http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/ss303/smleitner/buncase.jpg

The Armstrong is a nickel plated flute with some plating wear where the fingers typically touch the flute. It did not need a complete overhaul (estimated 2 years pad life left) and thus is on sale for $129. The URL for this flute is: http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/ss303/smleitner/arm.jpg and http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/ss303/smleitner/armcase.jpg

I will be writing about how we do overhauls and why we use Valentino pads tomorrow!
